THERMAL INSULATION GLASS
Thermal insulation glass is mainly used in severe cold weather. It adopts a special coating technology with several coating layers combined as a "quilt"on the glass surface which retain indoor heat. It feels warm inside the house even in freezing winter.
Energy efficiency parameters: visible light transmittance, heat transfer coefficient K, and solar infrared heat transmittance gIR. Visible light transmittance should be high to ensure sufficient natural lighting and comfort. The lower K value, the better heat insulation function; gIR value should be high so that solar radiation could pass into the building even at low solar altitude in winter.
