Yumen Base currently has the jurisdiction over Gansu Kaisheng Daming Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd，which was incorporated in June 2018.The Base is a high-tech enterprise which integrates the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of solar power generation glass products, as well as the mining and processing of and mineral resources for raw materials in the upstream side.
Yumen Base currently has a 600 t/d photothermal ultra-white Float Glass production line, supporting with solar reflector and offline Low-E glass deep processing line; an 800t/d photovoltaic rolled glass production line, supporting with deep processing production line; and several processing plants and lines for producing quartz sand, dolomite and other glass raw material, forming an integrated upstream and downstream supply system for the new energy industry chain, effectively leveraging the roles of leading enterprises in both the photothermal and photovoltaic industry chains.
Yumen Base relies on its strength to build its brand, and its products are widely used in the fields of photothermal and photovoltaic power generation. The main products are photothermal ultra-white float glass, photovoltaic rolled glass, offline Low-E energy-saving glass, solar reflector, photovoltaic cover plate, photovoltaic backplane and other photothermal and photovoltaic new material products. Among them, photothermal ultra-white float glass and solar reflector are popular across China, with the solar reflector accounting for more than half of the domestic market share.
Yumen Base has a complete set of waste heat boiler and low-temperature waste heat power generation system, with perfect flue gas desulfurization, denitration, and dust removal system.
Yumen Base regards technological innovation as the core driving force for development. In early 2024, it successfully broke through the “bottleneck” of technology and achieve mass and standardized production of photothermal ultra-white float glass with full-oxygen combustion technology. Its 4mm glass products have been tested by China Testing & Certification International Group Co., Ltd. (CTC), with a transmittance of 90.91% and a reflectivity of 94.70% for reflectors. It has become the first enterprise in the world to use full-oxygen combustion technology to produce photothermal ultra-white glass, which has broken the monopoly of foreign countries. At the same time, it is also the only manufacturing enterprise in China that has successfully integrated the industrial chain for producing photothermal glass and solar reflector. The technological innovation of the base has led the development direction of the industry, demonstrated its leading position and strong research and development strength in the field of photothermal materials, filled the gap in the production of photothermal and photovoltaic ultra-white glass in Gansu Province and even the western region, and provided key material supports for the development of the local new energy industry.
